I won this ARC in a giveaway! A classic Nicholas Sparks novel with a story that pulls at your heart。 With lovable characters and towns/places you can picture yourself in with his detailed descriptions。 Could not put this one down。 If you loved Sparks’ older books, you’ll love this one too!

AMAZING!! In the beginning, I had my doubts that this would be a truly awesome Nicholas Sparks masterpiece。 It didn't take long for it to become one of his best。 I simply could NOT put it down! I'm usually not a fan of stories that alternate between the past and present, but that is what made this book so perfect! Each chapter was a cliffhanger with scenes that you will have to have answered NOW! The following chapter will explain the cliffhanger only to present another。 You don't have to be a S AMAZING!! This book was received from a giveaway from Nicholas Sparks page。 I swear I mean every word I write。 This book is so beautiful and every moment is very detailed and means something。 The characters were so organized and had so much to tell。 The meaning of the story was perfect。 There’s so much rich detail imagery。 I couldn’t put this book down。 Hands down one of my favorite Nicholas sparks’ books even though I haven’t read them all yet。

I have read every Nicholas Sparks book, and this ranks right up towards the top。 This book reminds me of some of his older novels。 While reading, I could definitely imagine this as a movie。 But sometimes all the detail seemed unnecessary。 I enjoyed the story and the dual timeline, even if some parts of the book seemed far-fetched。

I usually don’t write reviews on books but I was honored to obtain an Advanced Readers copy of this book。 Nicholas Sparks doesn’t disappoint again。 This book was heartwarming, sad and happy at the same time。 I can’t wait for others to read it as well。

I received this book as an ARC from GoodReads。 It's been a while since I sat down to read a Nicholas Sparks book。 I absolutely loved the book, the story lines, and his refreshing writing style。 It was a very heartwarming and heartwrenching book, reminding you of how things were in the early 90's when it came to teen pregnancy and society's viewpoints at the time。 Tissues are needed at he wraps up the story lines at the end。 It's one of those books that you just don't want to put down。 I received this book as an ARC from GoodReads。 It's been a while since I sat down to read a Nicholas Sparks book。 I absolutely loved the book, the story lines, and his refreshing writing style。 It was a very heartwarming and heartwrenching book, reminding you of how things were in the early 90's when it came to teen pregnancy and society's viewpoints at the time。 Tissues are needed at he wraps up the story lines at the end。 It's one of those books that you just don't want to put down。 。。。more

I won this ARC in a giveaway from Goodreads。 I love Nicholas Sparks story telling。 This book is as amazing as the Notebook (one of my all time favorites) He brings to life a heart-breaking story within a story that makes you want/need to keep reading。 I thoroughly enjoyed this one and did not want the story to end。 Only gave 4 stars because I caught on to the ending pretty early in the book。 (probably because I've read so many of his books。) I won this ARC in a giveaway from Goodreads。 I love Nicholas Sparks story telling。 This book is as amazing as the Notebook (one of my all time favorites) He brings to life a heart-breaking story within a story that makes you want/need to keep reading。 I thoroughly enjoyed this one and did not want the story to end。 Only gave 4 stars because I caught on to the ending pretty early in the book。 (probably because I've read so many of his books。) 。。。more

This book was received as an ARC from Hachette Book Group - Grand Central Publishing in exchange for an honest review。 Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own。This story was very heartwarming and the love, optimism and passion Maggie had her whole life was very inspiring to read and made me want to read more。 I also loved the relationship Maggie had with Mark (her assistant) and how he stopped at nothing to remain professional and showed his love for photography and This book was received as an ARC from Hachette Book Group - Grand Central Publishing in exchange for an honest review。 Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own。This story was very heartwarming and the love, optimism and passion Maggie had her whole life was very inspiring to read and made me want to read more。 I also loved the relationship Maggie had with Mark (her assistant) and how he stopped at nothing to remain professional and showed his love for photography and the gallery then just naturally Maggie ended up having feelings for Mark and creating the very situation she wanted to avoid in the first place。 Dealing with a terminal illness, you can't help but wonder what if, and Nicholas Sparks does it again with a heartwarming novel that is set to leave you breathless。We will consider adding this title to our Adult Fiction collection at our library。 That is why we give this book 5 stars。 。。。more

Have tissues nearby。 Sometimes telling your story to someone makes sense and helps you overcome problems。 Maggie Dawes was sent to live with her aunt in Ockracoe, this move has set her life in edge。 The remainder of her life she spends running away on adventures。

I’m happy to say I throughly enjoyed this Sparks book! It really gave that heart wrenching story I crave from a Sparks book。 I loved the past and present timelines and Marissa, the main character was truly one of my favorite characters。 My only complaint is the chapters are extremely long which made it difficult for me to find a stopping point。 I think Sparks fans will love absolutely love this book! Thanks to Edelweiss and Grand Central Publishing for my advanced ebook copy。

This book is VINTAGE Nicholas sparks - full of damn good story telling, characters you fall in love with, and backstories that break your heart。 Hard to believe that Sparks has been writing for 25 years and just keeps getting better and better。 I love when Sparks uses the “story within a story” literary device-he used this in The Notebook and The Longest Ride- it’s fun to be able to get involved in both stories。 THE WISH is a complex story that addresses: teen pregnancy, adoption, parental expec This book is VINTAGE Nicholas sparks - full of damn good story telling, characters you fall in love with, and backstories that break your heart。 Hard to believe that Sparks has been writing for 25 years and just keeps getting better and better。 I love when Sparks uses the “story within a story” literary device-he used this in The Notebook and The Longest Ride- it’s fun to be able to get involved in both stories。 THE WISH is a complex story that addresses: teen pregnancy, adoption, parental expectations, cancer, first loves。 10 percent in I had my first cry。 I loved all the characters。 I loved the setting and the story itself。 Maggie will forever remain in my heart。I am beyond grateful to Gallery books, Edelweiss and Nicholas Sparks for the early read。 Cannot wait to share this story with EVERYONE September 2021。 。。。more
